InnOVATION Arts Academy proudly offers in-person summer programming.
Preschool & Elementary Camp
July 15-20
Half Days: Preschool and kindergarten (ages 3-6)
Full Days: Elementary (ascending 1st-6th Grade)
Join InnOvation Arts Academy for a week-long musical theatre adventure! Students will work with Innovation Arts Academy instructors to hone their acting, singing, and dancing skills in order to participate in a 20 minute showcase featuring songs from Finding Nemo Jr. Each day will be full of under sea activities including crafts, games, and of course - rehearsal!

Join Nemo, Marlin, Dory, and Crush the sea turtle and all their friends as Nemo discovers he can do much more than he dreamed. This performance camp features up to three end-of-camp performances on Saturday, July 20th between 12pm and 7pm.
Additionally, you may register your camper to perform in a featured group on the MainStage (at Singletary Center for the Arts) at the end of the summer (students must be available 7/31 and 8/3-8/4.)
Half day camp - $150

Advanced Musical Theatre Intensive
(JTF Bootcamp)
July 8-14
Students will work with professionals in a challenging learning environment that culminates in a 15 minute Junior Theatre Festival (JTF) style performance of Finding Nemo Jr. This performance will be the pre-show event for Lexington Shakespeare In The Park on July 12-14.

Students will study acting techniques, choreography, and vocal skills in a dynamic day camp environment.
​
Auditions will be April 27th from 10 am-12 pm at ArtsPlace (161 N. Mill Street)

Students currently participating in the Blue Monarch Conservatory are eligible to register without audition. Middle and high school students with experience with singing, acting, and/or dance are encouraged to audition.

Join InnOvation Arts Academy for a two week production camp! Students will receive exciting musical theatre instruction and will participate in our fully staged, costumed and choreographed production of Finding Nemo Jr on the MainStage at Singletary Center for the Arts., Casting will take place on the first day of camp.
A technical theatre track is also available to interested students! Tech track students will receive mentoring in the various tech areas of theatre, such as costuming, props, set, backstage management, crew, hair and makeup. Tech track students must commit to the two week camp and all performances.

SUMMER 2024 PRODUCTION
Dive into the big blue world of Disney and Pixar’s Finding Nemo JR! Marlin, an over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as Dory, Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves.
