
ADVANCED MUSICAL THEATRE PROGRAMS
The Edge
Students will learn triple threat skills by studying acting methods, vocal techniques, and choreography. Intermediate musical theatre dance on Mondays completes this age group’s training. Students have the option to take part in a featured group in Frozen, JR.
For High Schoolers and Advanced Middle Schoolers. A dynamic training class that balances individual artistic advancement with group and ensemble training, The Edge is designed to give our students “an edge” in their field.
Students will receive:

Individual audition training and intensive acting and vocal training using various methods. Guest teachers will include Nancy Jones (University of Kentucky Department of Theatre,) Sherri Sanders (New York,) Jack McIntyre, and Dr Everett McCorvey (University of Kentucky Opera Theatre).

Group training in musical theatre history through lecture, song and dance styles.

A showcase on March 8, 2020.
